Pavilion News

The contract for the pavilion renovation has been awarded to Glenplan Ltd. They are able to start swiftly once we have completed the due diligence required. The PC is thrilled to be able to see the new pavilion finally looking like a reality.
Regular updates and photographs of progress will be posted throughout the process.
We fully intend the 20 week estimate to be completed in time for the majority of the summer to be spent using the new facility by our Parishioners.

Unfortunately there is some bad news to report in regards to the current pavilion. It appears that after football has taken place on a weekend the pavilion has not been respected and left in a terrible mess. Although the parish council are well on the way to upgrading the current building, this does not mean that a facility, which can be used by any parishioner, should be left muddy and untidy. The Parish Council understand that the Sports Association do a good job maintaining the facilities but hope that this is a one off and will not be happening in the new pavilion once it is built (Hopefully in time for the summer fete!)

Here are some photos of the mess on a Tuesday (after a weekend of football).
