Neighbourhood Plan Referendum Result
The Neighbourhood Plan referendum was held on Thursday 23rd June 2022 to decide on the question below:
‘Do you want East Hertfordshire District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Much Hadham to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?’
East Herts Council have reported that 80.17% voted in favour of a Yes to this question as detailed in the notice.
At EHC, the Plan has to be formally ‘Made’ by the Council. This means it will be approved by its Executive on 6th September and by its Council on 19th October.
However, following the successful referendum the Plan automatically becomes part of the development plan and now carries full weight in decision-making.
The Neighbourhood Plan has its own website: www.muchhadhamnp.com
You are still able to find Agendas and Minutes for the NP Steering Group on our own page here
