STANSTED AIRPORT – FUTURE AIRSPACE PROGRAMME
London Stansted Airport is undertaking an important piece of work as part of the Government’s national programme to modernise the way UK airspace is managed. Views have been gathered from local communities and other stakeholders on a set of principles that will underpin any future proposals to change the way airspace around the airport is managed. Following this, proposed Design Principles have been submitted to the industry regulator, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for review. Those that contributed to this are thanked for doing so.
The Design Principles report and all accompanying appendices can be viewed on the CAA’s dedicated airspace change portal HERE
