HERTFORDSHIRE NATURE RECOVERY PARTNERSHIP – SURVEY

The Hertfordshire Nature Recovery Partnership is formed of partners across public, private and voluntary sectors, including:

  • Hertfordshire County Council
  • The Environment Agency
  • Natural England
  • Forestry Commission
  • The Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust
  • Hertfordshire Environmental Records Centre.

This Partnership is developing a Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) that will:

  • map areas of habitat across Hertfordshire
  • agree on local biodiversity priorities
  • identify where practical action would be most beneficial to create, enhance or recover habitat.

The Partnership would like to hear your thoughts about nature in Hertfordshire. Complete the local nature recovery survey to help them build a picture of nature recovery issues in Hertfordshire and tell them what matters to you.

The survey can be accessed here: Hertfordshire Nature Recovery Survey 2024

In addition, you can also now register your site or project to be included in the mapping for the Local Nature Recovery Strategy. Further information about this, as well as about the Partnership and Strategy can be found on this website: Hertfordshire Nature Recovery Partnership | Hertfordshire County Council
