EAST HERTS COUNCIL’S POLLING REVIEW
The Local Government Boundary Commission for England’s recently completed electoral review of East Herts recommended changes to a number of district and parish/town ward boundaries to take effect from the forthcoming elections in May 2023. Consequently, East Herts Council is undertaking an interim Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places with a view to ensuring that its polling districts align with the new ward boundaries and that all electors are able to vote at a convenient and accessible polling place.
Consultation on the review is now live and further details may be viewed on the East Herts website at https://www.eastherts.gov.uk/elections-and-voting/polling-places-review.
Any comments on the draft proposals and/or any alternative suggestions for convenient and accessible polling place venues will be very welcome and should be sent by 20 January 2023 to electors@eastherts.gov.uk or by post to The Electoral Services Manager, Wallfields, Pegs Lane, Hertford, SG13 8EQ.
For information, the polling places for Much Hadham remain unchanged.
